BRAIN TUMOUR AWARENESS MARCH

Join us for an unforgettable fundraising event in honour of Brain Tumour Awareness Month! 

Our founder, Dave Bolton, invites you to join him for a delightful Wirral Coastal walk on March 16th, 2024. This special occasion will feature a surprise appearance by none other than MR BOLTIVATOR – an experience you won't want to miss! 

As we celebrate hope and Dave's remarkable journey of 10 years post-diagnosis, inching towards the remarkable milestone of reaching the top 1% of survivors worldwide for Glioblastoma brain tumours, we'll also shine a light on the pressing issue of underfunding in brain tumour research. Let's honour the memory of those brave brain tumour warriors who left us too soon, while rallying together to raise crucial funds for the Ahead Of The Game Foundation.

The 80's / 90's theme 12 mile Wirral Coastal walk will kick off from Thurstaston Wirral Country Park visitor centre and take us through scenic routes passing West Kirby, Hoylake, Meols, Leasowe, before concluding in New Brighton. After our invigorating walk, join us for snacks and refreshments at our Cancer Rehabilitation & Wellness Hub located in Dudley Road, New Brighton.

Here is the event schedule:

• 10 am - Arrive no later at Wirral Country Park Visitor Centre
• 10:15 am - Few words from Mr Boltivator
• 10:30 am - Leave from Thurstaston
• 12 pm - STOP 1 Arrival at West Kirby Marine Lake (West Kirby, Wirral, CH48 0QA)
• 12:15 pm - Leave West Kirby
• 1:45 pm - STOP 2 Arrival at Moreton Shore Car Park (128 Pasture Rd, Moreton, Wirral, CH46 8SD)
• 2 pm - Leave Moreton Shore 
• 3:30 pm - Arrival in New Brighton Marino Lounge / Refreshments & Fundraising Cake Sale / End Photo (5 Marine Point, King's Parade, New Brighton, Wallasey CH45 2PB)

* ALL WELCOME - kiddies, dogs, family, friends (please note that we will be walking on the beach for part of this walk)

* FANCY DRESS - Let's brighten up the coast with neon 80's / 90's dance while we blast our tunes & motivation from Mr Boltivator himself! (and his pink micrphone)
