Receiving a brain tumour diagnosis can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone. We are proud to introduce a fully funded monthly wirral based support group designed specifically for individuals diagnosed with a brain tumour.

About the event

This brain tumour support group provides a welcoming space to connect, share experiences, and gain valuable insights on nutrition, supplementation, and support with our founder Dave Bolton.


Held in our Nutrition Café at The Ahead Of The Game Foundation Cancer Rehabilitation & Wellbeing Hub, this intimate gathering is limited to 12 individuals diagnosed with a brain tujour, ensuring a supportive and engaging environment.


Dave's Story:

In 2014, Dave suffered a 15-minute nocturnal seizure at home. He stopped breathing, dislocated his right shoulder, and bit through his tongue. Doctors discovered a tennis ball-sized tumour in his frontal lobe. Fourteen months later, during a routine MRI, a second tumour was detected, this time, a Glioblastoma Multiforme IDH 1 Wildtype, one of the world’s deadliest cancers and the leading cause of cancer-related death in people under 40.


Given just three months to live, Dave accepted his diagnosis but refused to accept his prognosis.…
